If You've Been Quietly Wondering What Kind of Support Your Family Needs
There’s a meltdown you didn’t see coming.
A school email you’re dreading to open. A relative who thinks your child just needs more discipline. A late-night loop of wondering what might help.
We get it. Most parenting advice wasn’t built for families like ours.
It assumes a nervous system that doesn’t get overwhelmed, a kid who responds to “just try this once,” and a timeline where things resolve neatly by bedtime.
That’s not a flaw in your parenting. It’s a gap in the advice.
You don’t need another rigid list of exact words to memorize. You need practical tools, supportive conversations, and space to learn alongside other caregivers who understand the complexity of raising sensitive, anxious, strong-willed, uniquely wired, and neurodivergent kids.
Behind so many hard moments are social, emotional, and executive functioning skills that are still developing. That’s where we focus.
We help you nurture those skills in a neurodiversity-affirming way that works with your child’s wiring, not against it, so your whole family can grow in development, resilience, and regulation.

Hi, I’m Elizabeth. I call myself a mom-atist: a mom of two amazing neurodivergent boys (now young adults) and a speech-language therapist for 30 years. I’m neurodivergent too. I’ve lived every stage of this, and I’m still living it.
Why I Built This
For more than 30 years, I’ve sat with parents who were trying incredibly hard and still felt unsure, overwhelmed, or alone. Not because they were failing, but because most parenting advice was never written for their child or family.
What I heard over and over was: “Tell me I’m not alone. Help me understand what might support my family.”
That’s why we created a space where caregivers can learn from research-informed tools, professional guidance, group coaching, and one another. Families can bring questions, hear different perspectives, and learn from people who understand.
We are all experts on our own children. Bring that knowledge together with practical tools and community support, and parenting can feel a little easier and a lot less lonely.

This Is What Members Are Saying About The Community
“The Connected Family Community has been such a supportive place for me as a parent. It’s nice to know I’m not alone on this parenting journey and to be surrounded by other parents who truly get it. I’ve received so many helpful resources and practical ideas that I can actually use with my daughter, along with support that helps me feel more confident and connected as a parent.”
– Adrian D.
“This feels like a lifeline. There’s just not a lot of this out there, where we can come together, not feel judged, and know we’re not alone.
I’ve been following Elizabeth’s work for years, and when she said she was building a community, I said, ‘Yes! This is what we need.’ It’s that combination of tools, support, and simply being seen.”
– Heather A.

What Changes When You Have Support That Fits
You begin to understand more of what may be happening beneath the behavior.
You build confidence in noticing your child’s signals, needs, and nervous system, while remembering that no single strategy will fit every child or every moment.
Instead of trying to find the perfect response or carrying every hard moment alone, you have compassionate guidance, practical tools, and a community to learn alongside.
The goal isn’t perfect parenting, fewer feelings, or a child who always appears regulated.
It’s greater understanding, less shame, stronger connection, and support that fits your actual family.
