When Daily Routines Feel Unpredictable

Some days, a child or teen can get started, stay focused, and finish what they set out to do. Other days, the very same homework, chores, or schoolwork lead to avoidance, shutdowns, or meltdowns.

This inconsistency leaves parents and caregivers drained, teachers and therapists frustrated, and kids discouraged.

It is not that you are doing anything wrong.

The truth is, planners, checklists, and reminders can help, but they often fall flat if they are not explicitly taught, co-created, and carried across home, school, and therapy.

That is where this workshop comes in.

Strategies That Work in Real Life

In just 90 minutes, you will learn practical, brain-based strategies that you can begin using the very next day.

Imagine your child, teen, or student developing rhythms that bring more ease into mornings, schoolwork, and daily routines. Imagine them building awareness of time, energy, and tasks so they can plan, get started, and follow through in ways that work for them.

These small shifts ripple outward, leading to smoother routines, more confidence, and stronger relationships at home, in school, and in the community.

Sarah will share research-based strategies from her newest executive function curriculum, filled with practical suggestions that can be put into action right away.

Helping Kids and Teens Build Confidence and Independence

What we are really talking about here is not just finishing a worksheet or completing a chore. It is about helping kids and teens develop the skills that build self-trust.

This is not about piling on more checklists. It is about addressing the roots of executive functioning — time management, situational awareness, planning, regulation, and follow-through.

To support the process, you will also receive visuals and templates that make these strategies easier to implement in real life.

When kids and teens begin meeting their goals with more ease, it creates a rhythm and flow that touches everything.

Most importantly, kids and teens grow in confidence and independence, skills that carry forward into every area of life.

"Sarah explained executive function in a way that finally made sense. For the first time, I could actually explain to my spouse and my child what’s happening when they get stuck or overwhelmed. Your examples made me feel hopeful instead of frustrated—and now I have a way to help, not just nag."
