Does This Sound Familiar?
You have tried thoughtful, supportive approaches.
Gentle reminders.
Clear expectations.
Visual supports.
Calming strategies.
And still, you are seeing:
- Kids who shut down before they even begin
- Panic or meltdowns over what looks like a small task
- Avoidance of homework, group work, or everyday expectations
- Big reactions to small mistakes or refusal to try
- Anxiety that derails motivation, flexibility, and follow-through
If you are a parent, educator, or clinician supporting neurodivergent kids or teens…
You are not imagining it.
You are not doing it wrong.
You are responding to something deeper.
You just need the right tools. Tools that will actually help you help them.
Perfect for parents, educators, and anyone who supports children.
Designed for SLPs, School Counselors, and Educators seeking CEUs
What If the Issue Is Not Effort, But Missing ROOTS?
Most adults want kids and teens to persist through hard things, recover from setbacks, and stay engaged when life feels messy.
What is often missing is not care or consistency.
It is a clear understanding of the conditions that actually support emotional regulation and resilience.
This live workshop focuses on building those conditions.
Not short-term fixes that backfire later. Not pressure. Not compliance.
Small shifts lead to big changes.
Perfect for parents, educators, and anyone who supports children.
Designed for SLPs, School Counselors, and Educators seeking CEUs

Meet Emily Kircher-Morris
Emily Kircher-Morris, LPC, is a mental health professional, author, and neurodiversity affirming clinician with more than a decade of experience supporting neurodivergent kids, teens, and adults.
Emily brings both professional and lived experience to her work. She navigated the education system as a twice exceptional student and as the parent of three neurodivergent children. These perspectives shape her focus on regulation, autonomy, and creating conditions that support growth without pressure or shame.
The ROOTS framework was developed through Emily’s clinical work and years of supporting families and professionals who asked the same question again and again:
What actually helps kids regulate, stay engaged, and recover when things feel hard?
Emily is also the host of the Neurodiversity Podcast and provides professional development for educators, clinicians, and caregivers.
She is the author of multiple books supporting neurodivergent learners, including:
- Neurodiversity Affirming Schools
